Maruti is at it again with a maruti swift new model 2011, they are soon to come out with the all new mini version of the Swift Dezire hatchback model,  somewhere later this year in India.  Here is our Review

This new Swift is enhanced with – longer headlights and severely Shortened rear. The market was live with a buzz that maruti was planning to come out with all new 4 meter long dezire somewhere in Feb. last year, but now there are photographic evidence of the same being made, but yet to be launched officially.  Some of the key features of the 2011 maruti swift new model include:

• Maruti saloon based, for all new swift.
• Length – 4 meters.
• More space.
• Lesser price.
• 1.2 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel.
• Small car, hence lower excise duty (only 10% instead of 22%).

2011 New Maruti Swift is Efficient and sporty

Tata motors were the first one to bring 4 meter saloon models in the market with their Indigo CS, due to its size being less then 4 meter it came in the catogory of small cars hence giving its a lower price (ex – showroom) making it a instant success in the market, and same is case being suspected with the Maruti swift, as it is due to its lower level of excise duty it inversely increases the savings on the car.

Figuratively speaking, like the Tata Indigo CS was created from 3690mm Indica, this Swift Dezire stretches to a bigger 3850mm as compared to the current Maruti Swift dezire which happens to be 4160mm, which gives it one disadvantage or lets say point of consideration especially for the Indian market that is a – smaller boot space, which is something the Maruti makers are still pondering on. Though it has a huge advantage of lower price for this model but the unusually smaller rear looks a little off the place with its front end giving it a more notch back look them a saloon one. Adding more to this disproportionate look  is its long nose with huge headlights.

Coming to the side profile of the car, one can notice a new rear door, and the traditional J – shaped, C- pillar isn’t their in this new swift, besides the car looks longer as well. Maruti has also added chrome to the body of this car, raising its standards. The car has a well balanced interior as well including – seats that are slightly more reclined for this car giving more leg space, central arm rest and a well equipped entertainment system, steering mounted control, airbags etc.

The exterior is all pepped up as well fitted with modern amenities which include – key free locks, bluetooth connectivity, Ipod dock as well as a USB port.

The suspensions for the new swift are believed to be more lighter and better, and maruti has payed special attention to the backseat comfort for this model. The most attractive part of this car would be its unusual and attractive price, which indeed is the main motive behind the entire modification and resizing. The probability is that this new swift dezire would be at a difference on 30K then the existing dezire, giving it a startling price of nearly 4.60 lakh (Ex – showroom, Delhi). Maruti hopes that once the new car is launched in January 2012 post the auto expo, it will yield positive results.
